Hotel Uzwil, a leading 4-star business hotel in the heart of Eastern Switzerland, offers 43 modern guest rooms, a restaurant with 80 seats, various cosy parlours with 6 to 12 seats, as well as a large hall with up to 55 seats. The more than 45 Uze Apartments and the Hotel Schäfli with 15 stylish guest rooms are also part of Hotel Uzwil. It is centrally located, with the station on the IC line Zurich-St.Gallen just a minute's walk from the hotel.

Your Tasks

• You lead the accommodation, events and seminars departments both in terms of personnel and operations, creating an environment where your team works with joy, responsibility and high service quality.
• As a visible and warm-hearted host, you are close to our guests, recognise their wishes and ensure that every stay and every event remains a fond memory.
• You advise our guests competently, develop suitable offers and plan events, seminars and banquets from the initial enquiry to careful follow-up.
• You coordinate employees, internal interfaces and external partners, create deployment and scheduling plans and ensure smooth operations.
• You further develop our offers and processes with fresh ideas, keeping quality, guest satisfaction and profitability in view.
• In close cooperation with the Head of Hospitality & Gastronomy, you implement joint goals and support the cross-departmental development of the business.

Your Profile

• Several years of professional and leadership experience in hospitality, gastronomy or the event and seminar sector – complemented by solid training in one of these areas.
• You lead clearly, appreciatively and motivatingly and enjoy promoting employees and advancing the team.
• You are a host by conviction, present yourself confidently and approach people openly, attentively and cordially.
• You are characterised by organisational talent, sales flair, economic thinking and a high standard of quality.
• Even when things are busy, you set the right priorities, decide solution-oriented and keep an overview.
• You use digital solutions with pleasure and confidence, work routinely with Microsoft 365 and ideally have experience with Gastronovi and Mews.
• You are willing to flexibly adapt your presence to the accommodation and event operations.
