Your Area of Responsibility

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation such as operating instructions, service, assembly and maintenance documents as well as clear presentation of technical content
• Support and further development of process engineering applications as well as conducting practical tests with different materials, tools and machine settings
• Analysis of machining processes and cut quality as well as development of practical optimisations
• Bringing practical knowledge into product development and assessing new solutions regarding practicality, process reliability, operability and customer benefit
• Technical support of existing user software as well as participation in the further development of new software solutions
• Planning and execution of software, functional and system tests as well as accompanying machine commissioning
• Conducting software and application training for internal employees and customers
• Technical support for sales and customer service regarding product questions, special applications and customer inquiries
• Participation in development projects and close cooperation with mechanics, electronics, hardware and software development as well as external partners
• Active involvement in the further development and optimisation of products, processes and technologies

Your Profile

• Completed training as a carpenter / joiner with further education to HF / Bachelor in wood technology or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in technical documentation, application technology & service environment in mechanical / plant engineering
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
• Understanding of mechatronic systems, control and drive technology and their practical application
• Experience in creating operating, assembly and maintenance instructions as well as training materials
• Basic knowledge of software testing, troubleshooting and parameterisation of user software is an advantage
• Very good communication and presentation skills, didactic understanding and structured working method
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form, French or Italian is an advantage
