About the job
The Gontenbad Elderly Centre Foundation is an institution in the long-term care sector and provides a home for over 60
people. The foundation is divided into three facilities: the elderly and nursing home
with 53 rooms, the residential group with 9 rooms for people suffering from dementia, as well as an
elderly residence with 12 apartments for older persons.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for the nursing and care team:
Your core tasks
• Daily responsibility in the Edelweiss dementia house
• Collaboration with the team leaders in the main building and the nursing & care management
• Cooperation with general practitioners, external partners and specialist committees
• Active participation in the nursing team
• Assessment of residents based on BESA
• Supervision of FaGe / FaBe trainees
Your profile
• You have high social competence and approach people with dementia and
their relatives with empathy, respect and appropriateness
• You hold a federal diploma as a Health Specialist (FaGe) or
Care Specialist (FaBe)
• You bring several years of professional experience in nursing, ideally in the field of dementia.
• You enjoy actively shaping the daily life and further development of our dementia house,
and act independently, responsibly and economically
• You have good knowledge of BESA and are proficient in using digital work tools
