Head of Finance and Controlling (m/f/d)

Role:
You want to not only manage finances but actively shape them? For an established Swiss company, we are looking for an experienced individual who takes holistic responsibility for the finance department and acts as a sparring partner for management. You can expect a managerial position with leadership responsibility, entrepreneurial scope for design, and the opportunity to sustainably develop reporting, controlling, and financial processes.
Responsibilities:
You lead and develop the finance and accounting team and take on both professional and personnel responsibility
You are responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and coordinate the collaboration with auditors
You manage budgeting, forecasts, liquidity planning, cash management, and working capital
You analyse sales, margins, costs, inventory, and profitability
You further develop management reporting and relevant financial key figures
You advise management on investments, financing, and business decisions
You develop cost centre and profit centre accounting further and support the establishment of additional profit centres
You ensure a reliable financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, VAT, and dunning
You coordinate collaboration with banks, insurance companies, pension funds, auditors, and other external partners
Qualifications:
You have a commercial or business administration education with further training in finance and accounting or controlling
You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as sound knowledge of accounting according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
You have experience in budgeting, financial planning, liquidity management, and controlling
You have leadership experience
You are very proficient in Excel, MS Office, and common ERP systems
You have very good German language skills; French skills are an advantage
