For the day clinic and outpatient therapies area, we are looking for a speech therapist preferably with professional experience.

The day clinic primarily treats people with neurological diseases.

The outpatient area offers a wide range of treatments: speech therapy disorders with neurological, oncological, post-operative, psychiatric, and functional origins are treated.

Your tasks

Creating anamnesis and findings, formulating the main therapeutic problem and speech therapy goals

Conducting job-specific assessments according to internal guidelines

Goal-oriented planning and implementation of therapies in the areas of aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphonia, dysphagia, and facial paresis

Documenting all therapeutic interventions according to applicable quality standards

Promoting the transfer of therapy content into the patient-specific everyday life

Guiding and advising relatives of our patients

Participating in working groups and projects

Guiding and supervising student internships

Contributing to subject-specific training for other professional groups

Exchange/communication with referring doctors and clinics as well as writing reports for cost approvals for health insurance

Your profile

Completed studies in speech therapy (university / university of applied sciences) or federally recognised training with EDK recognition

Willingness and joy in interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration

Flexibility, teamwork, resilience, and communication skills

Enjoyment of working with people and interest in a versatile activity in the field of geriatric medicine

Very good German skills in spoken and written form, foreign language skills are an advantage

Professional experience is desirable
