Become part of the Department of Emergency and Acute Medicine at Zollikerberg Hospital. The Department of Internal Medicine cares for over 3,300 inpatients and more than 450 patients in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit annually. The department also includes the interdisciplinary emergency centre with over 20,000 emergencies. The specialties of gastroenterology, cardiology, pneumology, endocrinology/diabetology, oncology, infectiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, acute geriatrics and palliative medicine are represented by senior physicians both inpatient and in the medical outpatient clinic. This makes our department a central service centre of Zollikerberg Hospital.
