The Swatch Business Unit is responsible for the development, production, assembly, and delivery of watch heads for the Swatch and Flik Flak brands.

The toolmaking department supports the injection moulding tools. The demanding tools are prepared for production through repairs, corrections, cleaning, and modifications. Additionally, the scope of work includes the manufacture of new injection moulding tools or individual components.

Your future areas of responsibility

You will work in a team of 5-10 specialists and can fully apply your know-how in

• Programming, setting up, and operating sinker and wire erosion machines
• Assembly and disassembly of injection moulding tools
• Manufacture of mould inserts, individual components, spare and wear parts for existing or new tools

• Performing maintenance work on injection moulding tools
• Processing technical changes
• Technical collaboration in various projects related to optimisations and innovations

Your skills and competencies

• Completed training as a polymechanic / toolmaker
• Professional experience in toolmaking and erosion
• Experience in plastics technology is an advantage
• “Doer” personality with a sense for efficient and innovative solutions
• Enthusiasm for your field, work in the thousandth range, and modern technologies
• Manual dexterity, reliability, team spirit, and resilience
• Strong personal commitment, flexibility, and independence
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system in special cases

Languages

You have good knowledge of German
