Work Preparation Specialist (80-100%)

For the Technical Division in the Bus and Tram sector

Your role with us

• Taking over basics from manufacturer documentation and internal BVB specifications as well as integrating them into SAP maintenance plans considering ECM, process, quality, and safety requirements.
• Creating SAP instructions based on detailed work plans to implement maintenance measures on the BVB fleet.
• Creating detailed SAP inspection plans to provide electronic checklists. Creating and maintaining master data views in SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintaining production aids and integrating digital documents from SAP ECTR and the data management system.
• Handling damage cases such as collisions or vandalism and coordinating collaboration with external vehicle experts.

What convinces us

• Completed vocational training in a craft, preferably related to rail vehicles, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Further training as a process specialist or a comparable qualification in production, processes, or maintenance.
• Proven experience in the maintenance of road and rail vehicles as well as in the implementation of component strategies, serialisation, and production planning.
• Solid technical understanding of the manufacture of individual parts as well as the maintenance, servicing, and repair of rail and road vehicles.
• Confident handling of Microsoft 365 and SAP experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA in the PM, PP, PS, or MM modules.
