Head of Emergency Nursing (m/f/d) 80-100 %
starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.Your Tasks
In this versatile leadership role, you will assume professional, personnel and organisational responsibility for our emergency department with six treatment bays, two seating places and around 15 employees (12 FTE). Together with your team, you will shape the nursing care of over 8,000 emergency consultations annually and continuously develop our processes. In doing so, you combine high professional standards with a respectful leadership culture and strong patient orientation.
- Leadership, promotion and further development of your team - you create an environment that equally strengthens motivation and quality
- Ensuring an efficient, safe and patient-oriented emergency operation with nursing quality at a university level
- Care of our patients and their relatives in the fields of orthopaedics, paraplegia and neuro-urology
- Close cooperation with the medical team of the emergency department
- Initial assessment according to ESI and priority-based coordination of the emergency department
- Responsible for the admission and discharge process of emergency patients
Your Profile
- You have a qualification as a certified expert in emergency nursing NDS HF as well as proven leadership experience
- Management training, at least at CAS level
- Leadership personality with high empathy, negotiation skills and organisational talent
- Networked and conceptual thinking, pragmatic and practice-oriented approach
- Ability to inspire and motivate
