Procedural Assistant 80 - 90%The Public Prosecutor's Office I of the Canton of Zurich conducts cantonal criminal investigations against adults in the area of serious violent crime.
As of September 1, 2026, we are looking to complement our team with your support as
Procedural Assistant (80%, possibly with an option for 90%)
Tasks
- As an assistant to an investigating public prosecutor, you take on all arising assistance tasks and independently manage the secretariat.
- Your core tasks include organizing interrogations, carefully managing criminal files, and preparing and issuing decisions.
- You maintain regular contact with authorities, parties, and third parties and proactively support your supervisor in all administrative matters.
- In addition, you periodically perform on-call duty (during weekdays and weekends) and have the opportunity – if interested – to accompany to the crime scene.
Profile
- You have completed commercial training or equivalent qualifications and ideally bring professional experience from the police, law firm, court, or public prosecutor's office environment.
- You are a flexible and reliable organizational talent with a can-do attitude and high commitment. You think ahead, demonstrate team spirit, and support your supervisor.
- The role requires a high level of quality and responsibility awareness. Integrity and discretion are a matter of course for you.
- Your communication skills are reflected in confident German, both spoken and written. You always find the right tone when dealing with procedural participants and interface partners.
- You are digitally savvy and proactively engage with technological innovations.
