At Finovo, we develop innovative solutions for the Swiss mortgage market. Our self-developed platform PETRA forms the core of our digital processes and is continuously optimised. For this, we are looking for an analytically strong personality who understands business requirements, translates them into technical solutions, and shapes the future of our platform together with the specialist departments and IT.
Your task
As a Business Engineer (80-100%), you are the central interface between business and IT. You analyse requirements, develop practical solutions, and accompany their implementation – from the idea to successful introduction.
In doing so, you work especially with our internal platform PETRA and contribute to making processes in the mortgage business more efficient, digital, and customer-oriented.
Your responsibilities
- Analysis and recording of business requirements as well as their translation into technical specifications
- Development of solution concepts and optimisation of existing business processes
- Creation and prioritisation of features, user stories, and prototypes
- Planning and conducting workshops with internal and external stakeholders
- Close collaboration with IT, specialist departments, and external partners
- Creation of test concepts as well as support of functional and system tests
- Support in the operation of the PETRA platform as well as analysis of incidents and bugs
- Co-design of new reporting requirements and continuous improvement of our systems
Your profile
- Completed studies or further education in business informatics, computer science, or business administration (FH, HF or university)
- At least three years of experience as a Business Engineer, Business Analyst, or in a comparable role
- Experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services environment is a great advantage
- Analytical thinking and the ability to present complex contexts clearly
- Enjoy connecting business and IT
- Very good German and English skills
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and the MS Office suite
- Experience with SQL, XML, or data migrations is an advantage
