As part of strong growth, we are looking for you as a Mid-Senior Application Engineer (m/f/d).
Work model: hybrid – 1-2 days in the office, up to 3 days remote. Full-time or part-time possible.
Job Description
The position:
You will expand and improve existing products or develop new, innovative solutions for diverse customers from the banking, retail, or government sectors.

• Agile software development, code review, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Independent planning and implementation of change requests and 3rd level support for incidents and problems
• Implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of software components
• Participation in exciting projects
• Ensuring that applications meet the internal and external stakeholder requirements regarding functionality, reliability, availability, maintainability, compliance, security, auditability, and scalability
• Close collaboration with external customers
• Refactoring of existing applications
Qualifications
Your profile:
• University degree (MSc / BSc) in computer science or an equivalent certification
• At least 3 years of practical experience in software development or maintenance in Java/Kotlin, Javascript/Typescript (React), and/or .Net in an agile IT/technology environment
• You have strong social skills, good communication abilities, empathy, and enjoy working with internal and external customers
• Gitlab-CI, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and OpenShift are familiar to you, and you master at least two of them
• Through high willingness to learn, you acquire specialized knowledge in new topics and enthusiastically share it
• Working and growing in a team is important to you, and you are motivated to create new things, maintain the old, and tackle challenges.
