Operations Director (m/f)

for the Sierre site, which employs 100 people. You will be responsible for the site’s operations and management, planning and organising all operations at your Sierre site (production, logistics, technical, infrastructure, and projects), ensuring smooth "just in time" and timely supply for all customers. Project management in logistics or process management aimed at optimising the handling of workwear and flat linen and improving customer satisfaction also falls within your remit. Together with your team, you manage the interfaces between the various departments. Furthermore, you achieve the objectives in your area of responsibility regarding productivity, costs, deadlines, and other defined indicators. You ensure that the structural and functional organisation complies with market standards and encourage your team in a climate of trust, based on Bardusch’s company values.

You have a basic education in metallurgy, textiles, electronics, or machinery, as well as further training in project and process management. You also have knowledge of Lean Management. Moreover, you have already achieved success in a comparable position within a production company and can draw on several years of management experience. You stand out through your ability to lead projects – including in structuring and change processes – as well as your interpersonal skills and ability to motivate teams. You quickly identify issues and convince through your analytical and entrepreneurial approach. You are a role model, provide impetus, and credibly embody the company’s values. Your organisational and planning skills allow you to maintain an overview at all times and keep your composure, while energetically getting involved yourself. You communicate fluently in French and ideally have a good command of German.
