At Sika Manufacturing AG in Sarnen, we manufacture high-quality plastic membranes for roof, tunnel, and structural waterproofing. The Process Operator (m/f) plays a key role in the production process and, together with their team, is responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality and performance.
Job Description
After successful training (approx. 1.5 years), the Process Operator Extrusion Lines 100% (m/f/d) is responsible for:
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring the extrusion equipment
- Professional leadership and support of assigned personnel within the shift
- Independently resolving malfunctions and initiating immediate measures
- Timely and quality-compliant implementation of order planning
- Active participation in production trials
- Careful documentation of product quality and feedback of process orders (SAP)
- Carrying out maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Ensuring order and cleanliness in the plant area
- Training and instructing new employees
Qualifications
- Willingness to work in a 3 to 4-shift system
- Very good social skills and ability to professionally guide employees
- Strong safety and environmental awareness
- Motivation to learn new things
- Very good technical understanding and a flair for numbers
- High reliability, flexibility, and resilience
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least B2)
- Professional experience in a manual environment
