The Cantonal School Glarus comprises a long-term grammar school, a specialised middle school, as well as a sports school at the lower secondary level with a total of around 480 pupils.
We are looking for a
Caretaker at the Cantonal School 70–80 %
from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement, based in Glarus.
Tasks
- Carrying out general caretaking duties
- Responsibility for outdoor and garden work
- Building and furniture maintenance and performing simple repairs
- Technical support for public events in the auditorium
Requirements
- Completed vocational training with proven professional experience
- Practical experience in caretaking, ideally in a school environment
- Enjoyment of varied work in a lively setting
- Independent, reliable working style and quick comprehension
- Initiative and flexibility
- Team spirit and service orientation
- Clear communication and good manners
