As Team Leader (m/f/d) Production Environment Controlled Area (ECA), you are responsible for the timely and high-quality production of semi-finished and finished products. You lead a production team in a two-shift operation, promote the professional development of employees, and actively contribute to the continuous optimisation of production processes.
A typical working day in this role includes:
- Ensuring the timely and quality-compliant production and inspection of semi-finished and finished products
- Complete and traceable documentation in the ERP system (SAP) and on the order papers
- Conducting Device History Record (DHR) reviews
- Arranging maintenance and servicing of production equipment
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of an assigned production team
- Conducting cross-trainings for employee development (also cross-departmental)
- Active participation in the performance appraisal process
- Implementation and follow-up of CAPAs and change controls
- Identification and implementation of improvement potentials using LEAN methods
- Participation in cross-departmental projects and problem-solving
- Ensuring the availability of orders, materials, tools, and measuring instruments
- Personnel deployment planning and cross-departmental resource support
WHAT YOU BRING TO ALCON:
- Completed vocational or precision mechanical training or many years of practical experience
- In-depth knowledge of products and production processes
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP)
- Technical understanding and quick grasp of complex contexts
- Experience in guiding, training, and leading employees
- High personal responsibility and organisational skills
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Loyalty, discretion, and role model behaviour
- Very good German skills (spoken and written), English skills advantageous
