Plant Designer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 100,000Role:
In this central role, you take on the planning, development and optimisation of new plants and systems. You are the creative and technical control instance responsible for the feasibility and precision of our products. Your expertise ensures compliance with the highest technical standards and norms from the first sketch to assembly.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive design of components, assemblies and products using state-of-the-art 3D CAD systems.
Creation of standards-compliant technical drawings and precise parts lists.
Material selection considering material properties, manufacturing techniques and cost-effectiveness.
Conducting calculations (e.g. tolerances, weight, volume) and preparation of technical documentation.
Accompanying the plant construction process from the concept phase to commissioning.
Ensuring manufacturability of designs and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Completed training as a Certified Designer EFZ or a degree (at least Bachelor) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or a related field.
Solid, several years of professional experience in the design and optimisation of mechanical systems, ideally in plant engineering.
Excellent knowledge of common 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, NX, Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD) as well as PDM/ERP systems.
Strong spatial imagination and analytical thinking skills for complex technical contexts.
Fluent German skills (native) and good English skills
