The Galvaswiss Group operates the largest hot-dip galvanizing plants, paint shops, and powder coatings in Switzerland. For our location in Pratteln (BL) with approx. 60 employees, we are looking to strengthen our team and to take care of our in-house vehicle fleets immediately or by arrangement a

Truck Mechanic 80-100% (m/f/d)

What to expect from us:

Carrying out maintenance, inspection, and repair work on our trucks, transporters, and trailers
Fault diagnosis, repair, and replacement of defective assemblies and components
Ensuring roadworthiness and operational readiness of all vehicles
Planning and coordination of service, MFK (vehicle inspection), and acceptance appointments
Documentation of all maintenance and repair measures
Organization of external repairs and coordination with external workshops
Management of vehicle documents, test protocols, and operating documents
Monitoring mileage, service intervals, and operating costs
Support in the procurement of spare parts and operating materials
Contact person for drivers and dispatch for technical questions

What you bring:

Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician specializing in commercial vehicle technology, truck mechanic, or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in commercial vehicle technology or fleet service desirable
Good knowledge in vehicle diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrics
Structured and independent way of working
Organizational skills and technical understanding
Driving license class C/CE is an advantage
