Senior Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.

Role:
You are an experienced system engineer focusing on complex networks and are looking for a new challenge. In this role, you take responsibility for planning, implementing and maintaining network infrastructures and services. You are responsible for the security, stability and performance of the systems and develop solutions to meet your customers’ requirements. With your experience as a senior system engineer, you bring a deep understanding of complex network systems and a strong problem-solving ability. You are ready to contribute your skills and advance your career further.
Responsibilities:
You administer and optimise Cisco networks, firewalls, storage and communication systems.
You analyse faults on highly critical system platforms and perform maintenance work on site.
You implement technical changes, expansions and new system components.
You plan preventive measures to increase availability, stability and operational security.
You accompany integration projects, maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable higher ICT education.
You have at least five years of experience in the network environment as well as solid routing and switching knowledge.
You have practical experience with Cisco, Check Point, firewalls and security configurations.
You are familiar with virtualisation and storage technologies; CCNA or CCSA/CCSE certifications are advantageous.
You work independently, analytically and reliably, communicate very well in German and well in English, and are prepared for on-call duty.
