About the job
Do you want to take responsibility and support people with dementia? Discover a versatile position with development opportunities and attractive employment conditions!
For a specialised care centre in the Basel region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Health Specialist EFZ with an 80% workload for the deputy residential group management. The family-run institution specialises in the care and support of people with dementia and offers residents a personal and appreciative environment. Small residential groups work according to a milieu-therapeutic approach, focusing on the individual needs, independence, and quality of life of the residents.
In this varied position, you combine direct care with organisational responsibility and support the residential group management in coordinating daily care routines. You will be part of a motivated team with short decision-making paths and have the opportunity to further develop your professional and organisational skills. Attractive employment conditions with at least 28 days of holiday, annual working time, and paid training complete the offer.
Your tasks with the new employer:
- You take on the individual care and support of people with dementia according to the key worker system and ensure professional, needs-oriented care
- Responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating the care process as well as ensuring high care quality within the residential group are among your central tasks
- Together with the residential group management, you organise and coordinate daily routines and support structured and smooth collaboration within the care team
- In the absence of the residential group management, you act as their deputy and ensure that care and organisational processes continue reliably
You offer your new employer:
- A completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ or an equivalent recognised qualification forms the basis for this responsible position
- You bring several years of professional experience in geriatric care and palliative care and ideally already have some leadership experience
- A structured way of working, interconnected thinking, and organisational skills enable you to coordinate different tasks and set priorities correctly
- With your empathetic, responsible personality, you focus on the residents and their individual needs and promote appreciative collaboration
You can also look forward to the following benefits
- A family-run care centre with a personal atmosphere, a motivated team, and short decision-making paths enable close collaboration and direct professional exchange
- At least 28 days of holiday and an annual working time model offer attractive conditions for organising your professional and private time
- Diverse tasks with organisational responsibility and development potential allow you to apply your expertise and gain initial or further leadership experience
- Paid training and opportunities for personal development support you in deepening your expertise and advancing your career
