For our maintenance workshop, we are looking for a
Head of Mechanical Workshop in a Chemical Environment (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Personnel and technical management of the maintenance workshop in the exciting environment of the chemical production and infrastructure area
- Deployment and resource planning in collaboration with the team leaders (mechanics and locksmithing)
- Continuous optimization of workflows and modernization of the workshop
- Technical advice to internal departments regarding preventive maintenance work
- Participation in and management of workshop-related projects
- Technical and personal development of the workshop team
Your Profile
- Completed basic mechanical training EFZ (e.g., polymechanic, production mechanic)
- Further training as a production, maintenance specialist or maintenance manager
- Several years of professional experience as a mechanic in an industrial environment and proven leadership of operational mechanics
- Assertiveness and sensitivity in dealing with people
- Structured working and a calm demeanor are among your strengths
- Service mentality, flexibility, resilience, initiative, and ability to work in a team
- German spoken and written (native language)
- Willingness to work on-call duty (no shift work)
