As part of our experienced and open laboratory team, you support microbiological analyses of food, feed, and drinking water samples. You appreciate the varied activity profile and contribute with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Job Description
- Leadership and further development of a team of xxx people
- Responsibility for managing and processing samples in daily operations
- Work planning regarding personnel, resources, and task allocation
- Responsibility for budget planning, cost control, and achieving economic targets
- Analysis and optimization of existing processes as well as identification of improvement potentials
- Use and further development of office and IT systems to increase efficiency
- Organization, planning, and guidance in comprehensive customer inquiries and projects
- Networked thinking beyond your own area to ensure efficient cross-departmental processes
- Solution-oriented work on operational and strategic issues
- Recognizing, promoting, and targeted development of individual employee potentials
- Professional guidance of employees.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or as a deputy
- Proven leadership experience and enthusiasm for employee development
- Strong cost and budget understanding
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for optimization potentials
- Solution-oriented, structured, and independent working style
- Networked, entrepreneurial thinking across departmental boundaries
- High IT affinity and confident handling of office systems
- Very good German and good English skills.
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and team orientation

The conditions and what else we offer you:
- You have a 40-hour week at 100% with core working hours from 08:00 – 20:00.
- You take on about one weekend shift per month.
