Are you looking for a varied and responsible role in outpatient geriatric psychiatry? At the University Psychiatric Centre Bern, you work in a dynamic environment and support patients with gerontopsychiatric conditions. You follow a person-centred and recovery-oriented approach and take on a diverse and responsible range of tasks in the outpatient setting.

Your tasks

• You work in an outreach, mobile setting within interprofessional teams
• You support nursing teams in complex gerontopsychiatric and psychosocial situations in nursing and care homes
• You provide person-centred, recovery-oriented care and support for patients
• You maintain digital nursing documentation and prepare reports
• You recognise changes in patients’ conditions early and take over case management if necessary
• You support trainees and students in their training
• You are responsible for service billing according to TARDOC
• You have the opportunity to contribute to various areas of responsibility

Your profile

• You have completed training as a qualified nurse HF/FH
• You have several years of professional experience in psychiatry and experience in supporting people with dementia
• You possess strong professional and social skills in dealing with complex psychiatric situations
• You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner, and organise your work reliably even in a mobile setting
• You value interprofessional collaboration and communicate reliably and solution-oriented
• You communicate clearly, empathetically and professionally even in challenging situations
• You are flexible, resilient and have high social competence
• You show initiative and gladly take on responsibility
• You enjoy continuously developing professionally and personally
• You are an organisational talent and appreciate both independent work and active team exchange
• You are digitally savvy and open to modern work processes and new technologies in healthcare
