Responsibility for prosecuting cybercrime lies with the cantons – Our Cybercrime Team is the main contact for all investigations in the digital space.

• Management of reports from police stations and the Swiss ePolice portal for processing
• Initiation of investigations, mostly against unknown perpetrators, and preparation of requests for partner organizations and external services
• Verification of new cases to determine if they are related to already registered reports
• Documentation of investigation results in the reporting system and forwarding of reports to the competent public prosecutor's office
• Technical support for uniformed police, including hotline management

• Completed professional training in economics, administration, or law, as well as excellent computer and digital skills.
• Interest in police work and motivation to actively support the unit
