To strengthen our team in Visp, Switzerland, we are looking for

a Deputy Team Leader for Operations Support.

To strengthen our well-established team in Visp, we are seeking a dedicated individual who thinks ahead, takes initiative, and organises so that external and internal customers receive their goods on time.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Takes over the leadership of the team in the absence of the team leader, including operations cleaning, dryers, and operations support
• Actively participates in the dryer team
• Supports operations support such as loading/unloading BULK material, logistics tasks
• Working with the computer (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP as well as process control systems) completes your range of activities.
• Co-responsibility for training and onboarding
• Coordination between team and operations (with BA, BC, technical department)
• Monitoring compliance with legal and internal safety regulations

Qualifications and experience:

• Completed training as a logistician or chemical and pharmaceutical technologist or experience as an operator in chemical production or service companies.
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Forklift licence available
• Good SAP and Office skills
• Technical understanding of systems and processes
• You know how to motivate employees, communicate clearly, and create a performance-oriented team environment
• Strong awareness of safety and active promotion of the safety culture
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• You keep an overview even in dynamic operational situations and act proactively and solution-oriented
