Who we are
Your work environmentThe Zug Police provides security, traffic, criminal and administrative police services for the Canton of Zug and its population.
The Tactical Analysis Unit supports the investigative and command bodies of the Zug Police by preparing, analyzing and evaluating data and information. It identifies crime patterns, trends and phenomena, produces situation reports and analyses, thereby making a significant contribution to crime fighting and prevention as well as operational support.

Task
Your tasks- Active support of the analysis team in daily tasks
- Processing and analysis of various data and information
- Assisting in identifying crime patterns and new phenomena
- Conducting research, classifying data and identifying criminal police relevant connections
- Creating situation reports and analysis reports as well as data visualizations
- Assisting in image investigation activities
Requirements
Your profile- Ongoing or completed studies in the field of criminology (or comparable course of study)
- Affinity for police analysis work and quick comprehension
- Knowledge and experience in the use of analysis tools (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft BI)
- Editorial skills as well as good presentation and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of German (spoken/written) and foreign languages advantageous (English/French)
- High resilience, ability to work in a team and discretion
- Swiss citizenship, impeccable reputation and integrity
