About the job
To strengthen our Bündner Youth Meeting team in Chur, we are looking for motivated and warm supervisors immediately.
The Bündner Youth Meeting is aimed at people with an intellectual and/or cerebral impairment aged 16 to 30 years. Our goal is to offer young people and young adults with special needs a supervised meeting platform outside the everyday protected structures of family and institutions. That young people with disabilities also have a regular opportunity to go out is very valuable for social integration and further development.
The youth meeting events take place twice a month as announced.
Your tasks
- Guidance, accompaniment and support in meaningful, varied leisure activities for young people with an intellectual and/or cerebral impairment
- Accompanying the supervised in their personal and social concerns
- Assistance services (accompanying to the toilet, etc.)
- Responsibility for the young guests entrusted to you during walks, excursions and external activities
- Cleaning of the infrastructure (kitchen, club premises, toilets)
Your profile
- Openness to shared leisure activities for young people with an intellectual and/or physical impairment
- Empathy and patience
- Appreciative and respectful interaction
- Teamwork, willingness to communicate, creativity and independence
- Minimum age: 18 years
