Mechanical Technical Office Manager, 80-100% (m/f/d)

As part of the replacement of the Mechanical Technical Office Manager, we are seeking an experienced professional capable of leading and coordinating the department's activities to ensure the design, development, and optimisation of products in compliance with technical requirements, deadlines, and costs.
Your tasks
By taking charge of the following activities, you will be able to develop your potential and contribute to our success:
- Lead and organise the activities of the Mechanical Technical Office (planning, project allocation, monitoring deadlines, costs, and quality)
- Supervise the design and development of mechanical products, and validate key technical choices
- Ensure the compliance of solutions with technical, regulatory, and customer requirements
- Coordinate projects with internal departments (production, purchasing, quality, sales) up to industrialisation
- Develop design methods and tools and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes
- Manage, support, and develop the team
Your expertise
- Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent training
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, industrial product development, or technical office as well as in technical project management
- Proven experience in team management
- Strong mastery of mechanical design (sizing, materials, manufacturing processes)
- Good command of CAD tools and technical data management systems
- Good understanding of production and industrialisation processes
- Very good level of French and good level of English (written and spoken), German is an asset
- Sense of responsibility, results orientation, service mindset, internal/external customer orientation, and good communication and collaboration skills
