At a glance
In this position as a Field Engineer (international service technician) at SKAN, you will be part of a great team with a strong team spirit, responsible for the maintenance, qualification, and calibration of our equipment in the field. The range of equipment spans from older models to state-of-the-art filling lines. Both the training through our SKAN Academy and your several years of professional experience as a Field Engineer will help you quickly find your way in our environment.
With a high proportion of travel within Europe, exciting challenges, new cultures, and the opportunity to apply your know-how internationally await you. Assignments take place weekly (Mon-Fri) and sometimes over two to three weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on our equipment
- Qualification, re-qualification, and inspections of SKAN equipment & products in the pharmaceutical environment
- GMP-compliant documentation of test protocols
- Calibration and adjustment of sensors
- Filter integrity testing and ventilation qualification
- Replacement and repair of components as well as troubleshooting services on isolators
Hard skills
- Technical basic training and/or higher technical qualification (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, polymechanics, or similar)
- Several years of experience in the international service technician environment are highly advantageous
- Experience in the GMP environment or in isolator technology is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Very good English skills are required; German skills are an advantage
- Due to the travel activity, residence in the Basel / Allschwil area is recommended or willingness to relocate there
