The Zurich regional church is based on its 107 parishes and counts around 390,000 members. On behalf of the church council, the overall church services support the parishes and their employees. The Resources department provides the personnel and operational resources and foundations for task fulfillment and advises parishes on questions regarding finance, IT, real estate, and personnel.
Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for all personnel-related topics of the overall church services
- Strategic and operational further development of the HR area in cooperation with management and executives
- Active shaping of personnel recruitment, development, and organizational culture
- Leadership and further development of the personnel service with currently eight employees
- Ensuring efficient, lean HR processes
- Responsibility for compliance with legal foundations, especially the regional church personnel law
- Consulting parishes on personnel law and personnel administrative issues
- Leading and implementing HR projects
Your profile
- Completed studies (university or university of applied sciences) with further education in HR management
- Several years of experience in a comparable HR leadership role
- Practical experience in personnel development, HR projects, and culture development
- Knowledge of public personnel law is an advantage
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High digital affinity (Microsoft 365, ERP systems)
