To complement our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a

Nurse / Care Assistant Palliative Care 40 - 90 %.

As the largest certified hospital for specialised palliative care in the canton of Bern and a cooperation partner of Inselspital, Biel Hospital Centre, Hirslanden Bern and the UPD, Diaconis Palliative Care cares for terminally ill people requiring hospital treatment. The ward is located in the Oranienburg House in a beautiful and central location on the upper Aare slope.

An interprofessional care and treatment team consisting of doctors, nursing staff, psychosocial care, chaplaincy, physiotherapy, music therapy and social work ensures individual, comprehensive support and treatment with the aim of the best possible quality of life for patients and their relatives.

Your tasks with us

• You lovingly care for and support our patients in their daily lives
• You take on domestic tasks and ensure a homely atmosphere and order in the living areas
• In cooperation or consultation with the specialist staff, you take on possible key worker tasks
• You observe and document the health status of the patients

You bring the following with you

• Training at assistant level (Assistant in Health/Social EBA, Nursing Assistant FA) or the SRK course
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form (at least B2)
• Flexibility and resilience
• Team spirit and cooperative working style
• Understanding and empathy
