City Green Winterthur plans, maintains and manages the green and open spaces, the forest, the Bruderhaus wildlife park, the five cemeteries as well as the crematorium of the garden city Winterthur. For municipal tree care, we are looking for a professionally skilled, responsible and team-oriented individual. Together with the tree care team, internal specialist departments and external partners, you will make an important contribution to the safe, healthy and sustainable development of Winterthur's city trees.

Your Tasks

Carrying out tree inspections, follow-up inspections and professional assessments

Planning, prioritising and implementing tree care and safety measures

Assisting with in-depth investigations, expert reports, tree protection and replacement planting

Ensuring traffic and occupational safety as well as professional quality standards

Documentation of work and data maintenance in the tree register

Your Profile

Professional training in tree care, forestry, horticulture or a comparable qualification

Practical experience in tree inspection, tree care, tree protection or a comparable environment

Responsible, independent and careful working style

Team-oriented personality with quality, safety and cost awareness

Digital affinity as well as willingness for administrative documentation and data maintenance
