Team Leader Cable Assembly
In the cable assembly department, wires, cables, contacts, connectors, etc. are manufactured into complex cable systems and cable harnesses according to drawings and parts lists in accordance with customer-specific requirements. As team leader of this department, you will lead a team of around 10-15 employees.
You handle the variety of orders with regard to quality, quantity, deadlines and costs within the specified framework and use resources and operating materials optimally. You lead your employees in a goal-oriented manner and are a good organiser. In this role, you report to the production manager and optimise workflows, goods flow and inventories under his leadership. You are also able to use IT tools including the ERP system efficiently. You are a good communicator and enjoy
working with people.
Requirements:
Technical basic training as an electrician, electromechanic, electrical fitter or electronics assembler
Several years of professional experience in cable processing or cable assembly
High awareness of quality, processes and deadlines
Planning and organisational talent
Open to change and possess a good dose of creativity and innovation
Strong in implementation
Experience in work preparation and module costing
Proven personnel management skills
