About the job
Workload: 80–100% I Baden and plant locations
In this role, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our datacenter infrastructure, which we operate on-site at the plant locations. You work in a demanding environment that places high demands on performance, security, and scalability – in particular, the datacenters must remain operational without connection to the outside world.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Planning, implementation, and orchestration of ICT platforms and solutions in the on-premise environment with a focus on AD, ADFS, PKI, and IAM
- Definition, configuration, and optimization of the aforementioned services as well as integration into various ICT infrastructure components (e.g., NAC, MFA service, basic and specialized applications, etc.)
- Co-design of the overall ICT architecture as a subject matter expert for Authentication Services and the subsystems that rely on the authentication services
- Responsibility for all authentication services within the overall ICT infrastructure (platform owner)
- Design and further development of the authentication services and their concepts regarding availability, security, and data integrity through standardization and automation
- Operation of the authentication services as well as active support in the operation of the overall ICT infrastructure
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the ICT infrastructure team with other subject matter experts (e.g., network, virtualization, infrastructure, etc.)
- Coordination and execution of in-depth diagnostics for performance issues, error analyses, and capacity planning for various authentication services
- Documentation of system configurations and processes as well as ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Profile & Requirements
- Completed education and further training in computer science or comparable technical education with many years of experience in the field of authentication services
- Solid experience in planning, implementing, and operating AD, IAM, and PKI solutions
- General IT expertise in the areas of IT infrastructure (compute, storage, server and client virtualization, as well as server and application operation)
- High security awareness when designing and operating IT platforms and IT solutions
- Standardization and automation know-how as a basis for cost-efficient and reliable operation
- Interest in the nuclear industry and willingness to build professional competencies there in the long term
- Independent, structured, and analytical working style
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Very good oral and written German skills as well as good English skills
- Willingness for maintenance deployments and on-call duty
- Impeccable reputation and no criminal record
- Driver's license category B
