The position is based in the Eastern Switzerland region within Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott (Switzerland) AG. We focus on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to make more informed decisions. We are revolutionizing the way people monitor their blood sugar levels with our new sensor technology.
Your tasks:
- Implementation of plans to achieve or exceed targets
- Understanding the situation, potential, challenges, and needs of customers and sales channels
- Development and implementation of plans to identify growth opportunities with existing and potential new customers
- Evaluation, selection, management, and support of sales channel partners in the defined area with the goal of maximizing associated revenue generation
- Implementation of agreed goals and tactics with customers to improve performance
- Collaboration with internal teams to build customer networks and development initiatives aligned with overall strategic direction
- Building and maintaining effective working/business relationships with internal/external key decision-makers, customers and their staff, administrative personnel, etc.
- Planning, implementing, and conducting effective sales/product presentations and training for customers, setting goals, and measuring success
Your qualifications:
- Medical training or sales experience in the field of medical/over-the-counter/cosmetic products
- 2–5 years of experience as a sales representative in the pharmacy sales channel
- Practical knowledge and understanding of customer/disease area requirements as well as industry and local market conditions
- Existing relationships with pharmacies and ideally also with pharmacy chains/corporations
- Knowledge of the national healthcare system, the list of services and items (MiGeL), and local therapy-specific guidelines affecting decision-making
- Very good German skills, good French skills are an advantage, conversational English
