The city of Dietikon is the fifth largest municipality in Zurich and at the same time the district capital in the Limmattal with over 28,000 inhabitants. The social counselling provides economic and personal assistance within the framework of social welfare for adults and families. We work according to the methodological principles of Positive Leadership and Empowerment.
Do you have a university of applied sciences degree in social work and are looking for a permanent position? Then you are exactly right with us! We offer you a permanent position starting 1 July 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Advising and supporting social welfare recipients
- Initiating social and professional integration measures
- Calculating, checking and granting social welfare
- Cooperating with authorities and specialist agencies
Your profile
- Completed training in social work at a university of applied sciences
- Committed and resilient personality
- Sound knowledge in the field of social welfare and social insurance law (or interest and willingness to familiarise yourself with the field of work)
- Experience in transcultural social work is an advantage
- Professional experience desired
- Good PC user skills (Tutoris)
- Administrative and organisational skills
- Humour, flexibility and ability to work in a team
