About the job
Westwind Residential and Work Integration is a social institution that offers housing and workplaces to people with cognitive or psychological impairments. Together with this target group, we rock the working day.
Our heart is the kitchen. Here, it’s not just about cooking; it’s about working, learning, laughing, and creating something delicious every lunchtime together with people with disabilities. And because a good kitchen involves more than just the stove, we also pitch in with everything around it: order, hygiene, clean workspaces, laundry, and smooth-running processes.
We are looking for reinforcement for this heart! Someone who brings their culinary skills and enjoys passing them on. Interested? Then get in touch, starting immediately or by arrangement.
What to expect
- You cook together with employees with disabilities and conjure up the perfect lunch for Westwind.
- You help out when the kitchen, dining hall, and washrooms need to shine again, and you take care of washing the work clothes.
- You implement the educational care processes in practice and have hygiene and quality standards under control.
- You actively participate in our meetings and contribute your ideas.
What you bring
- You have proven cooking skills and enjoy sharing them. A cooking apprenticeship is therefore an advantage.
- You are an open-minded person, love contact with people, enjoy learning, and are fully energetic.
- You have drive, work independently, and understand dialect.
- Endurance, flexibility, humour, and a cool head, even when things get hectic.
What we offer you
- An exciting workplace in a lively company where your craft has an impact every day.
- No weekend work, no on-call hours, and two weeks of company holidays over Christmas. We will agree on the exact days together.
- A small team that sticks together, and employees who look forward to seeing you every morning.
- The opportunity to engage with educational principles and structures.
- Your own gym room for balance in between and otherwise cool workspaces.
