Your main tasks
- Processing and controlling animal law cases
- Support for the front departments of the Thurgau Cantonal Police on animal-related questions
- Link between the police and authorities
- Contact point for authorities and agencies in animal law cases
- Participation in heavy traffic controls with a focus on animal transports
- Occasional tour duties
Your profile
- Police officer with a federal specialist certificate
- Several years of police professional experience
- Good knowledge of Swiss animal protection law and relevant laws and regulations
- Great interest in the field, prior knowledge is an advantage
- Willingness and enthusiasm to acquire new expertise
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
- Willingness to continue education
