THE FOUNDATION FOR LAUSANNE SOCIOCULTURAL ANIMATION (FASL) is a private foundation of public utility subsidized by the city of Lausanne. In partnership with neighborhood associations, FASL manages 17 Sociocultural Animation Centers and has more than 90 collaborators.
To complete our team at the PONTAISE NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE, we are looking for a:
Sociocultural Animator at 65%
Missions
- Actively participate in the conceptualization and implementation of the Neighborhood House project, defining objectives and the program;
- Share responsibility with colleagues for the animation (of the place and the neighborhood) and ensure its good local establishment;
- Co-reference of the "Youth" sector;
- Promote the development of associative life in the neighborhood;
- Ensure administrative tasks of the Neighborhood House in collaboration with the team.
Profile
- Hold a university degree in social work or an equivalent recognized title;
- Proven experience in sociocultural animation;
- Ability to work with all audiences and strong interest in neighborhood work;
- Skills in group management, project development, and volunteer support;
- Good knowledge of the Lausanne social system, strong interest in networking and associative environment;
- Skills in project conceptualization and management;
- Ability to demonstrate creativity, listening skills, and strong adaptability;
- Ability to work both in a team and independently;
- Organizational and planning skills, stress resistance;
- Ability to supervise monitors, interns, and ETS;
- Availability to work variable hours including evenings and weekends;
- Good administrative skills and proficiency in common computer software.
