EW Rothrist AG is the energy and water supplier for the municipalities of Rothrist and Vordemwald. We are looking for a

Head of Finance 80-100 %

Your new challenge:

• Operational management of the finance department including human resources
• Independent preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and reporting to the Board of Directors
• Responsibility for cost accounting including management of allocations
• Implementation of budgeting and planning processes
• Pre- and post-calculation of regulated network usage and energy prices as well as market-oriented services with support from the Managing Director
• Preparation and provision of all regulatory financial data as well as timely reporting to the ElCom
• Close cooperation with management and strategic support in the further development of the company
• Leading a small team in the finance department
• Participation and coordination of cross-departmental projects

You distinguish yourself by

• a higher business education with a focus on finance or a federal diploma in finance and accounting
• several years of solid professional experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in an energy supply company
• in-depth understanding of cost accounting
• profound knowledge of MS Office applications and ideally experience with the ERP system Abacus
• analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
• a structured, precise and self-organised working style with a high sense of responsibility
• flexibility, resilience and pleasant manners
