Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and ranks among the best hospital institutions worldwide according to the Newsweek 2025 ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and training.
Possible areas of activity:
Integrated as a full-time employee, you will work in one of these environments (to specify in your letter, max. 3 choices in order of priority):
- Administration, secretariat & reception – physical/telephone reception, correspondence, layout, daily support to Services
- Executive assistance – support to a Directorate (medical or administrative): agendas, meetings, notes, follow-up of actions
- Communication – events, content for website, intranet, social networks, coordination of multidisciplinary teams
- Apprenticeship management – support for the apprenticeship pathway (Training Center): applications, contracts, fairs
- Human resources – employee files, recruitments, letters, HR databases.
Mission
- You welcome, answer the phone, and provide information to patients, visitors, and employees
- You write and format letters, minutes, reports, and presentations
- You plan and organize meetings, appointments, and events (logistics, invitations, room, materials)
- You create/update databases and tracking tables (Excel/SharePoint)
- You receive, sort, and distribute mail, follow up on material orders, and contribute to the supply room
- Depending on the area: you contribute to digital projects (intranet, forms, mail merges), event communication, or recruitment (invitations, files)
- As part of the MPC: you complete your TIP/maturity work, STA/UF, logbook, and required deliverables, with the support of a supervisor.
Profile
- You meet the admission requirements for the MPC 3+1 internship (final year of Business School, economics & commerce option)
- You work independently, with organizational skills, dynamism, proactivity, and flexibility
- You communicate clearly (oral/written) and enjoy teamwork
- Comfortable with office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; bonus: SharePoint/Teams/Forms)
