As part of the development of the track service, we are advertising the following position:
Locksmith, Welder
Your mission
Reporting to the Track Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out various troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and testing activities on the rail network in order to provide, as quickly as possible, different internal and external clients with a quality of service that meets their needs, in compliance with rules, standards and directives.
Your main responsibilities
- Establish diagnostics then carry out various maintenance, assembly and repair work on fixed installations of the rail network. If necessary, involve internal or external contractors to restore equipment to working order within the allotted time,
- ensure that the tools and equipment provided are always complete and reliable. Contribute to the overhaul, minor repairs and maintenance of the equipment and vehicles entrusted to you in order to keep them clean and in good working order for various activities,
- according to established rotations and/or on request, carry out the necessary interventions to restore the tram network to working order as quickly as possible and in accordance with internal and external safety standards, regulations and specific prescriptions in force and the set objectives.
Your profile
- Federal VET Diploma as a metal constructor or equivalent qualification in the field of metallurgy,
- 3 years of professional experience in metal construction as well as 3 years of experience in MIG and MAG welding. Specific and mandatory training will be provided by the trade department.
- heavy goods vehicle licence, forklift licence and machine operator licence,
- very good knowledge of the railway network,
- very good ability to learn new tasks, curiosity and adaptability,
- availability and flexibility for on-call service including night work.
