Our client is a successful, established civil engineering company specialising in building construction and civil engineering, based in the Zurich-North region. The company operates in the city and agglomeration of Zurich as well as in the surrounding areas, has a powerful on-call service and is on duty around the clock for the municipal utilities of Zurich, Winterthur, Wallisellen and the Limmattal community. In building construction, the focus is on conversions, renovations and refurbishments.

Foreman in Road and Utility Construction (m/f)

What you do:

You work closely with the site manager with commitment and expertly manage the site in the area of road construction/utility construction. You competently assist with road and civil engineering works and in the areas of sewerage, surfacing, paving, asphalt surfaces and edge closures. You ensure the site setup while observing safety measures in civil engineering and have a firm grasp of recording and surveying simple terrain and components as well as operating machines and equipment. Participation in meetings and internal management reports complete your range of tasks.

What you bring:

With your several years of professional experience as a foreman in road construction/utility construction, you are our ideal candidate. You are a flexible, committed and team-oriented personality, hold a category B driving licence and have good German language skills, both spoken and written. You like to take responsibility, have good assertiveness, are a team player but also enjoy working independently. You are not afraid to get stuck in and count independence, resilience and commitment among your strengths.
