Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) (w/m)
Pensum: 80-100%
Start: immediately or by appointment
Duration: unlimited
Location: Geneva area (Thônex) or Zurich area (Urdorf)
Main Tasks
- Operate our Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Automate processes and enforce infrastructure as code through GitOps
- Improve and manage monitoring tools, including Mimir, Loki and Grafana, for system health checks
- Work together with development to ensure a proper shift-left
- Implement security best practices across our tech stack
- Mentor and upskill junior team members in SRE best practices
- Participate in future on-call rotation
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of relevant SRE or DevOps experience
- Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Strong scripting and automation skills, preferably in Bash, Go or Python
- Good understanding of monitoring tools like Mimir, Loki and Grafana
- Familiarity with our tech stack is a plus: Flux, Cilium, Istio, Kyverno, Vault, etc.
- Experience with databases, PostgreSQL is a plus
- Self-driven, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English; German and French are a plus
