Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Our business unit Load Cells & Platforms (LCPF) develops weighing sensors as well as hardware and software platforms for the entire global METTLER TOLEDO group. For our operational global headquarters in Nänikon/Greifensee, we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer 80-100% (all genders) for our Research & Development (R&D) department in the "Software Embedded Systems" team. Our area is a supplier of a powerful embedded software platform for trade, industrial, and laboratory devices. We develop and optimize new solutions in close collaboration with product development teams distributed worldwide. As a platform supplier, we form the hub and competence center for software topics in the embedded area for the entire METTLER TOLEDO group. In this role, you will take on the following tasks: You are responsible for the hardware-near programming and development of our internally used embedded software platform worldwide (C/C++). You develop firmware for own products, simulations, and virtualizations. You are responsible for specification, design, documentation, and verification according to development processes. You take responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing software subprojects with an experienced engineering team. You support and train our internally distributed customers worldwide. You have interest/potential to develop into a project manager/team leader.
