We cannot move mountains, of course. But that’s no problem. Because as experienced alpinists in rail freight transport, we see mountains as a challenge, not an obstacle. We transport heavy goods from the North Sea through the Alps to the Mediterranean, and that is a tricky task. We master it as a team with our around 450 employees in Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and Italy. Our customers are international, our roots local. Trainmaster (TKC) Muttenz
What awaits you:
- Carrying out technical departure checks and train preparations on our freight trains
- Assignments in shunting service
- Checking purchased services for quality and completeness
- Conducting technical audits in the area of wagon technology and dangerous goods at various departure stations and tank depots
- Regulating defective wagons and loads, including triggering the necessary transport orders
What you bring with you:
- Completed training as a technical inspector TKC, shunting assistant category Ai40 or train preparer
- Driving licence category B
- Flexibility for irregular assignments throughout Switzerland, occasionally also in neighbouring foreign countries
- Willingness for regular on-call duty
- Independent, resilient and proactive personality with a strong team spirit
