Are you looking for a temporary assignment outside of classic long-term care? Here, you will support people with various impairments and broaden your nursing horizons.

Your future place of work is a larger residential, nursing, and care institution in the Bern region. Adults with psychological, physical and/or cognitive impairments are supported, whose care and support needs vary greatly.

It is precisely this diversity that makes the assignment special: some residents require comprehensive nursing support, others live largely independently and are accompanied in their daily lives as needed. The focus is on individual resources, self-determination, and the highest possible quality of life.
As a FaGe EFZ 60–100%, you will temporarily support the existing team and work in an environment where nursing and care are closely linked. In doing so, you will become familiar with different life and care situations and can expand your previous experience with new professional perspectives.

Here’s where you can contribute:

• Support residents individually in their care and daily life management, orienting yourself to their existing resources
• Take on tasks in basic and treatment care as well as medical-technical activities within your competencies
• Professionally and appropriately support people with various physical, psychological, and cognitive impairments
• Collaborate with professionals from nursing, care, and other occupational groups and actively contribute your experience to daily life

What you bring with you:

• Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ or an equivalent SRK recognition
• Enjoyment in supporting people with diverse and sometimes complex support needs
• Independent, responsible, and flexible working style
• Openness to engage with a new work environment, different life situations, and an existing team
