Road Maintenance Worker

Technical Office | 80-100 % | Splügen

The Technical Office is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of cantonal roads, as well as hydraulic structures and slow mobility in Graubünden. In addition, we take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton. The cantonal road infrastructure includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 metres high and tunnels up to 3 kilometres long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain canton conceals in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As an office certified with the Friendly Work Space label, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. For this reason, we are committed to systematic health management in the company (GSA).

For the road maintenance department in district 7 Thusis, we are looking for a road maintenance worker from 1 September 2026 or by agreement.

Tasks

Carrying out road maintenance work in a small maintenance team
Summer and winter service
Clearing and repair work after accidents or natural events
Monitoring the condition of roads and road facilities
On-call service (both summer and winter)

What we expect from you

Category C driving licence or willingness to obtain it
