Your Mission:
- Support to Supply Chain Department for the selection, evaluation and qualification of the suppliers
- Supervise and direct Supplier Qualification for all relevant quality aspects
- Act as main interface for Engineering, Operations and Procurement for all supplier quality topics
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) to make sure that products meet the drawings and specifications.
- Lead Supplier Non-Conformance and failure investigation whenever product and/or process requirements are violated
- Performing supplier audits and driving improvement
- Continually working with strategic suppliers to improve performance and implement process controls and quality
- Analyzing supplier capabilities; developing and maintaining supplier quality metrics
Main Tasks:
- Execute Supplier Quality Assurance Program in accordance with Project Milestones
- Support the conversion of Customer Critical to Quality Requirements into supplier specifications and requirements
- Lead and/or support the process for Non-Conformance Management at suppliers
- Lead and/or support the Supplier Critical Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and investigation activities
- Moderate Supplier Process FMEA
- Support Process and Product Qualification at Suppliers ensuring close engagement and collaboration with M&P and Design Engineering
- Lead Supplier Audit
- Contribute as needed to Customer and Internal Audit as Supplier Quality Assurance representative
- Communicate with suppliers regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement in working relationships
- Contribute for Quality matters to proposal as part of the Request For Information / Request For Quotation
- Contribute to the Quality Organization Development (Training/Coaching)
Your Story:
- Relevant experience in the field of Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Preferred education: BSc/MSc degree in Engineering or in a similar relevant discipline
- Knowledge of standards such as EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL
- Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles
- Ability to quickly understand and analyse technical products/systems and their function
- High level of theoretical skills in relevant fields with an adeptness to coach hands on practical elements “on the floor”
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German
- MS Office experience required
- Experience in the application of Quality preventive methodology (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone…)
- Any further language (German, French and Swedish) beyond English is a strong asset
- Experience in other Space companies is a plus
