About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur trains around 120 apprentices in 7 different professions annually. Our training programmes are practical, varied and open up many career opportunities for you. With us, you work in a lively, meaningful environment.In the three-year basic vocational training as a health specialist, you are responsible for the care and support of residents in the retirement homes and for the clients of Spitex.

- Carrying out nursing measures
- Performing medical-technical procedures
- Implementing health promotion measures
- Supporting needs- and situation-appropriate care and support
- Organising the daily lives of the residents
Your Profile
- Secondary school A or B with good grades
- Outgoing personality, communication and teamwork skills
- Sense of responsibility and good powers of observation
- Patience and respect
- Willingness to work irregular hours
