About the job

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur trains around 120 apprentices in 7 different professions annually. Our training programmes are practical, varied and open up many career opportunities for you. With us, you work in a lively, meaningful environment.

In the three-year basic vocational training as a health specialist, you are responsible for the care and support of residents in the retirement homes and for the clients of Spitex.

Carrying out nursing measures

Performing medical-technical procedures

Implementing health promotion measures

Supporting needs- and situation-appropriate care and support

Organising the daily lives of the residents

Your Profile

Secondary school A or B with good grades

Outgoing personality, communication and teamwork skills

Sense of responsibility and good powers of observation

Patience and respect

Willingness to work irregular hours
